Synopsis
Caught between the yearning for independence and the constraints of Egypt's conservatism, Gamila grapples with finding her place in a society that doesn't fully embrace her aspirations. This struggle often leaves her feeling a sense of dissonance within herself, making it difficult for her to feel beautiful.
